MAGA Republicans

Joe Biden and his Democrat allies have all adopted the phrase “radical MAGA Republicans” to label all Republicans, regardless of their degree of conservatism. The phrase is intended to be pejorative and, when unanswered, it becomes effective. But it is a mindless slogan. What is a MAGA Republican? The abbreviation was, of course, adopted by President Trump – “Make America Great Again.” That seems to Ratcatcher to be a perfectly good goal; what’s wrong with making the country great?

Well, of course, we know what Biden and his cronies think is wrong with the idea. It reminds people of President Trump. But much more important, it reminds them of affordable gasoline, readily available and plentiful food, pharmaceuticals that were on the shelves of drug stores when needed, general respect for America around the world, and, most important, peace!

Every one of these measurables has become scarce, high-priced, or non-existent. Threats of war now exist on every continent and the reputation of America has been trashed – by its own President! The list of national and international debacles of the Biden Administration is long and embarrassing. No president has done more to damage the reputation and standing of America than Joe Biden. And yet he has the temerity to mock conservative Republicans with the label MAGA Republicans.

Well, it is far past time for conservatives across the country to embrace the label. Wear shirts, hats, and buttons proclaiming that they are, in fact, in favor of making America great again. Nothing will take the power out of the Dems name calling than to embrace it. Yes, we are MAGA Republicans! Yes, we believe in energy independence, the protection of the unborn, celebration of the First Amendment, preservation of Second Amendment rights, border security, and affordable food and medicine. Yes, we endorse the idea that America is a unique experiment in individual freedom. Yes, we believe that America has done more for world peace and has provided more money and relief to the rest of the world than any other country in the history of the world. Yes, America is a good place and Americans have reason to be proud of their heritage. Joe Biden has done everything in his power to destroy this legacy. MAGA Republicans must now exert efforts to rebuild that legacy. Start by embracing the name MAGA Republicans.
