Et Tu Brute

There are fewer images that are more repulsive than men kicking and hitting another man on the ground incapable of defending himself.  He may be on his knees or lying on the ground, but the kicking and hitting goes on and watching, we want to vomit.  The power brokers of the Democrat Party have just served up such an image for all the world to see.  Joe Biden, badly wounded by this advancing dementia, stubbornly hanging on to the dissolving hope of a second term as President of the United States, has been on his knees and falling for weeks.  Those who have been his “best friends” in Washington, D. C. have been running a campaign to delegitimize his candidacy for the presidency.  Loyalty in politics disappears quickly the minute weakness is revealed.

We have all watched for three years as Mr. Biden has lost his mental facility progressively, mixing words, stumbling on stairs, shaking hands with invisible people while the loyal media and his Democrat “friends” assured us that we could not believe our lying eyes.  But we could believe them; he was failing, and his own family and allies would not admit it, choosing instead to deny reality in their desperate attempt to cling to power.

Well, now it’s done.  The knives did their work.  The man is down for good, wounded and incapable of rising.  Ratcatcher is not disappointed by the ultimate outcome – Joe won’t run.  Bu Ratcatcher is disgusted by the power grabbing process of the Democrat Party.  The hardest wounds are those from a friend.  Joe will spend the rest of his lief wondering whether Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and numerous other Democrat hot shots were ever his friends.  Maybe it was always and ever merely a marriage of convenience.
